Notes
Grimm's Fairy Tales, first published in 1812 by German brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm, is a collection of traditional European folk tales. The stories were originally gathered from oral traditions and often feature magical elements, moral lessons, and archetypal characters like heroes, villains, and mythical creatures. Over time, many of these tales—such as "Cinderella," "Hansel and Gretel," and "Snow White"—have become timeless classics. Though originally darker and more complex, they were later adapted into more child-friendly versions, influencing Western storytelling and popular culture.
